Hip, Hip Hooray! It is officially fall with October on the calendar. I really enjoy decorating for the fall! The children will be seeing lots of orange and triangles, which is our focus for the month! Please bring an item that is orange for show and tell! The children can look forward to a special play date with the 6th graders, our “buddies”. We will have a “pumpkin hunt” and paint mini pumpkins! This will be tons of fun! For Bible time, we are listening to the story of David and Goliath. This week we are singing a familiar tune, “Old McDonald Had a Farm”! Lastly, this week we are finishing up our “blue” art activities, we are coloring “Grover” blue and painting a blue “Cookie Monster”.
