The children in grades 5,6,and 7 were given SUMMER READING contracts and assignments to complete. Please sign and return these forms by Wednesday, May 28th. These 2 assignments represent the first 2 grades in literature and language for the 2008-2009 school year. The students have some choice as to the presentation of their reading, and book titles were included in the letters that went home. Thank you for encouraging your child to participate is this annual ICCS summer program.
Remember to send in those gently used items for our auction for Wednesday of this week. If you would like to purchase a small item to contribute to our auction, please feel free to do so!! The children love to use their hard-earned tickets, and the more items, the more the fun.
The end of the school year is upon us! Thank you, parents, for all you have done this year to support our school and especially our class. I am so blessed to have been given such a wonderful group of students and parents. May our Heavenly Father shower you and your families with health, safety and graces this summer. I will miss all of you but will keep you in my prayers.
We hope that you will be able to join us for our Middle Ages festivities and culmination of the Social Studies program for this year. We will begin at 9:00 in the gymnasium, on Wednesday, May 28th, and will end around 10:00 or 10:15. Hope you can make it.
The 6th grade is in charge of water balloon volleyball for this year's FIELD DAY! We need volunteers. Please email me if you would like to share your time with us. We look forward to a great and enjoyable day.
The children need to bring in a large, heavy duty plastic bag for clean up and for taking items home. We have taken our portfolios home and will be adding some auction items, costumes, and a variety of other items. We have cleaned our lockers, but must still clean the classroom and complete our social studies presentations on Wednesday.
Please join us for Mass on Thursday, after which the children will be released to go home.
God bless you abundantly!
