Your kids have made some amazing progress! I am so proud of them. I can't wait to see how much more they will learn.
Next week we will be learning about the letter Xx. We will be spelling and reading words with letters we have studied and reading phonics readers. We will continue to work with money (pennies, nickels, & dimes) while reviewing time and sequencing.
For our Science and Social Studies unit we will learn more about farms and the changes that occur in the spring. We have caterpillars that we will watch change. We will also try to learn about the life cycle of frogs. It should be a fun unit.
Please continue to read to your child. That is one of the best ways to prepare your child to read. You can also help them to sound out and read simple words.
