We've had a great Fall semester and have seen success with all of our students in both academics and character development. Our attendance has been very good this Fall despite some illnesses going around. We raised over 800 pounds of food for the canned food drive in November and had a lot of fun doing it. Our Accelerated Reader program got off to a good start and has been utilized successfully by the students. Our Fire Safety assembly in November with the fire department's mobile "Smoke House" was an outstanding experience for our students to participate in. We recently completed our Fall Book Fair and had a great turnout of students and parents to the "Family Book Fair Lasagna Night." Our elementary UIL competition on Dec. 13th in Troy went very well with a 2nd and 3rd place in Second Grade Creative Writing. All in all, we've had a great Fall! We look forward to seeing parents and friends at our K - 2nd grade Carol Singing program on Dec. 21st @ 9:30 AM in the gym. We hope you have a wonderful Holiday Break!
