ELA 7 Honors - We are working on an on-going project in which the kids choose currently used slang words and create a dictionary!
Mon- Students will write contextual sentences for words
Tue- Students will list synonyms and antonyms for words
Wed- Students will look for homonyms for words
Thu- Students will compile the information into a standard format
Fri- Students will arrange his/her dictionary in the proper format including headings and guidewords
ELA 7 Regular - We are working on an on-going book report project. Each student has selected a novel and is participating in completing a 10-page bookreport. As students move at different paces it is difficult to plan the exact stage of the report for each individual. However, I will post due dates for the written parts of the reports as they are due.
Mon- Read (work on Vocabulary Due May 14th)
Tue- Read (Characters)
Wed- Read (Setting)
Thu- Read (Note taking recognizing important themes)
Fri- Read (Theme)
