*This is our last PYP Planner for the year: Commotion in the Ocean
Activities:
-This week we will continue to read various books on Ocean Animals.
( sharks, dolphins, starfish, whales, different types of fish, and many more)
-Students will begin to research their favorite ocean animal and complete a small book. (students are encouraged to bring a book highlighting their favorite animal to share with the class)
Math:
-Activities include addition, subtraction, symmetry, graphing, money, patterns, telling time, and measurement. (Math Home Link Activity Included in red folder)

-Thanks to ALL of the PARENTAL SUPPORT, Field Day was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
-Please send $4.00 for your child¡¦s Field Day T-shirt if you have not already submitted it. Thanks again to Mrs. Rota and Mrs. Kouzounis for doing such a MARVELOUS JOB!!
-Tuesday, May 27th is our End of the Year Class Party @ Karl Young Park. Please return permission slips no later than Friday, May 24th . We are going to have sprinklers, so students should wear their swim suits and field day t-shirts. Please send an extra change of clothes in their back packs. For safety reasons, students should wear shoes that can get wet. We will leave @ 8:30am. (PLEASE NO LUNCHES)
-Wednesday, May 28th is our Kindergarten Awards ceremony @ 8:30am. We will have a light snack/reception in our classroom immediately following the ceremony. Students should wear uniforms. Family and friends are welcomed. (PLEASE NO LUNCHES)
-Thursday, May 29th is our Last Day of School. Early Dismissal @ 12:30pm. (No Extended Day)
