-They moved the boy/girl developement video to the 14th of May, but I think it will be changed again due to schedule conflict with bus loading drill. I will let you know the new date when I hear something.
-Field Day is May 16th.
-Field trip to Pershing is May 20th to practice for graduation.
-Exhibition is May 21 and 22.
-Regal Ranch is May 23.
-Graduation Party is May 27th (believe this is something done by PTO outside?)
-Graduation is May 28th at Pershing Middle School.
-Last day is May 29 and it is a half day.
We are rapidly wrapping up this academic year. It has been hectic the last several months with all the testing. I am glad (as I know the kids are) that it is all behind us! :)
We are focuing on our last unit of inquiry which is titled Who's The Boss. This focuses on government which is a natural transition from our study of the American Revolution.
The kids have finished LDC and won't be returning to Mrs. Gee. I believe that most of them enjoyed their final book.
We are continuing with math are in the middle of unit 10. I had hoped to finish all of the 2nd journal, but don't think we will. We have two chapters left after chapter 10.
Our main focus will continue to be Exhibition and the kids are beginning to work on their action plans. Thank you for any support that you are giving them at home. This is the culminating event for them as elementary students.
