PHYSICAL EDUCATION!
This Week: Fitness Testing and Speed Stacking!
K-1st: Students will use large buckets (and eventually regulation size cups) to learn how to speed stack, which allows them to to help improve their quickness, hand/eye coordination as well as problem solving skills>
2nd grade students will continue to develop thier skills in speed stacking as they use regulation size cups. 3rd grade students will continue their fitness testing they began a few weeks ago. The Fitnessgram battery of tests will be used, specifcally the PACER, Curl-Up, Push-Up, Trunk Lift and Shoulder Stretch; Body Mass Index will also be calculated. Parents wishing to know the results of their chidlrens scores may contact me.

Failure to follow instructions and behave appropriately will result in the following infractions:
1) Warning
2) Time out to reflect
3) Teacher referral
4) Parent notification
