The way we care for our bodies effects our well being.
Our class discussed the many different systems of the body and how they work together. In the Second Grade hallway, we have displayed our paper skeletons and human bodies.You are welcome to come by to admire their dilligent work. We especially enjoyed composing facts we knew about the body explaning how best to take care of ourselves. This included information about how the body parts function, along with nutrition's role in our overall health.
We will be very busy in the month of December. We will have two field trips planned along with other activities.
Field Trip - Health Museum- December 4th
Health Fair in the Cafeteria- December 14th
Field Trip Bayou Wildlife Park-December 17th
Holiday Class Party (11:30 a.m.-1:30p.m.)-
**We will collect money for a Mc Donald's lunch beginning in December.
