1. There is a field trip tomorrow from 10:00 until 1:00pm. Please make sure your child has a sack lunch and wears his/her Roberts shirt.
2. Students will be taking the Math TAKS test at the end of April. Below is a wonderful website that children can access at home to help them prepare.

IB PLANNER
Title: Adaptation
Central Idea: Over time, living things need to adapt in order to survive.
This is a new planner in which students will be exploring how living things adapt to changing environments and the sharing of resources. At the end of the planner, students will be asked to create a new species of plant or animal and to explain how the animal adapts to the ecosystem it inhabits.
Language Arts:
Students have been reading biographies in their book clubs. Currently students are writing biographies based on the research they have done and creating timelines. They are learning about paragraph structure and subject verb agreement. Next week they will be presenting their biographies and timelines. Students will be assigned a day to read their biographies. Students have the option of dressing up like their famous person.
Math: Unit 7- Multiplication/ Division

Homework:
Spelling and Wordly Wise homework will be alternated weekly. Math homelinks will be assigned daily. Furthermore, students will be asked to read 30 minutes each night.
Spelling Homework: (M-Word Sort; T-Copy each word 2 time; W- Write 10 sentences using as many words as possible;Th-Study)
