Mrs. Aylmer's Class News 

OH, BOY!!!  A surprise Grandma Shower!!! You all are so very thoughtful & sweet. The enormous basket of books, cute baby outfits, baby bingo, spring rolls, cake and ice cream were unbelievable. Hunter Gregory Wilson and I can't wait to spend time together reading together! Thank You.

This week in spelling we will study all our words from our spelling book. We counted them today, there were 144! We will not have regular homework or a test. Instead, we will have a Spelling Bee at the end of the week.

The School Carnival is May 9th!! If your child is going to the carnival, please pick them up outside the classroom door at 2:50.

Our class will present Fairy Tale plays to parents on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:30 pm , in the school cafeteria.  Our class Award Ceremony will take place immediately following the end of the plays.  Please plan to attend your child’s play and award ceremony.  Don’t forget your camera!

All trade books and library books must be returned on or before Friday, May 16.

On Wednesday, May 21, first graders will participate in student-led conferences.  Each child will share his/her portfolio with a parent.  Please come to the classroom at 9:15 on May 21^st in order to share this experience with your child.  The student-led conference will end at 9:45.
