Good Evening, Parents and Students,
This week is November 17th - 21st. Monday is a Gray Day, Tuesday is a Purple Day, and so on!
We are stilll on Unit 3 - North Africa and Southwest Asia. The homework for this week is to finish their political and physical maps of North Africa and Southwest Asia and complete a worksheet pertaining to the natural resources in this region - oil!
We will have quizzes after each lesson this week and the two days next week because we are not going to have a major Unit test. The students have to pay attention in class and have their homework done in order to make good grades on the quizzes. They will use their notes and homework to study before the quizzes. Without the information, they may not do so well on the quizzes. Please check with your child each night to see that their homework is done.
Please make sure your child completes the homework each night because we are using the homework in class for discussions, and the homework is for a grade. Any student without their homework will be assigned AIP and get a late grade. If they still do not do their homework after being assigned AIP, they will get a zero so check with child each night about homework assignments.
Please have your child prepared with the necessary supplies for my class - colored pencils, scissors, glue, blue pen, black pen, pencil sharpener, ISN, and textbook. We use them every week.
