Greetings,

I am the 8th Grade English teacher for House M at Johnston Middle School.

This semester the English classes will focus on:

Literary Devices
Literary Analysis
Dialectical Journals
Writing
Grammar

Thus far we have completed:

Daily Reviews (every class period)
Dear Ms. Jackson Letters -Intorduction Letters
Mood
Tone
Style
Theme-(Smoosh Book) Homework
Diction
Imagery
Detail

We have been using a style of notetaking called Cornell notes, which should be located in the students binders in the notes section. Parents please ask to see them.

I am not available on Tuesdays because I have duty in the mornings. I am not available on Tuesday or Thursday evenings due to volleyball games.

I am currently available after school for all class Monday and Wednesday.I will be staying after school until 5:00pm.
