For those of you who look grades up on the internet, I am going to try to keep a few common questions posted on this page to help keep you informed.
1. A blank spot indicates that I have entered the assignment, but the grades haven't been put in yet.
2. When the spot says "msg", that indicates that I do not have a grade for that assignment. If it is a daily assignment, they need to turn it in. If it is a test, I will have them make it up as soon as I have a chance in class.
3. Any grade - other than a test grade - that is below 70 needs to be corrected and returned to me.
4. Any grade marked with "msg" is averaged in as a "0" on the computer until it is turned in and recorded. Even if the student was absent it will be this way as a reminder to me and the parent that it needs to be taken care of.
I'm very excited about the parents being able to go online and check on the students grades. Please be patient as you look in on things and let me know if you have any questions. I do check my e-mail from this website often, so if you have questions, please feel free to use that type of communication. Thanks!
Our students will also have a student planner this year. They will be responsible for bringing this to school EVERY day. The parent must sign it EVERY day also. The parents will be able to keep up with assignments (the child will fill this in daily from each class) and behavior issues that may have come up during the day (the teacher will sign for these issues).
I will also keep my lesson plans on my website to further assist you. Please realize that these are in fact plans and are subject to change based on how fast or slow we need to move to complete a task.
