Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies at Powell Middle School! This should be an exciting year. We will be working on completing 2 standards and 3 benchmarks.
I will also be teaching four Guided Reading classes this year! The focus of this class will be to improve students' reading skills.
The curriculum this year will vary greatly! We will be focusing on the geography of the different countries around the world and their cultures.
I will post weekly assignments here so you can check to see what we are up to from week to week. You can leave me a message at Powell Middle School if you need to get in touch with me.
Please encourage your child to keep a planner or update his iHomework this year to help them keep track of assignments!
