This week we have been working on Career Clusters. Today we did on article summary from pages 10 and 11 in their American Careers "Textbook."
Paragraph 1 should be 6 to 7 sentences long and should describe what the article was about.
Paragraph 2 should be 4 to 5 sentecnes long and should describe what was learned from the article.
The students were given the opportunity to complete the assignment in class and most took advantage of that opportunity. There were a few who did not get done in class and will need to complete it as homework.
Technology
This week and every week we spend the first 15 to 20 minutes practicing typing.
This week we have been learning about using Microsoft Office Word. To demonstrate what they have learned, they are completing projects using Word. Unless they have missed a day of school, they have had time to complete their projects in class.
