School is going great. The kids are doing well and are adjusting to first grade easily. I have sent home the first of the progress reports. Please look it over and discuss the items with your child. This progress report is from the week of Sept. 2-5. The latest report will be sent home tomorrow. Please sign and return the report and indicate if you would like a copy of it.

We will be using the Trophies Reading Series again this year. As a grade level we have decided to put our reading groups on hold for a little while. We wanted to wait until count day to see if there was going to be any movement if a new class is formed.
Water bottles are welcome if they have a sports cap. Others with lids tend to spill.
Book orders will be due by Friday, September 19. This is a great place to get books to add to your home library. The books are good quality and great prices.
