Investigative Math 7 (Pre-Algebra)-
The first quarter is almost done! We have covered chapters 1 and 2, and we are currently finishing chapter 3. We will begin chapter 4 this coming week. Also, Wed. Oct. 21 is the final day to turn in any work that is missing due to absences.
*** Parents- Please try to check ParentLink on a regular basis. This a good way to monitor your child's progress and seem what assignments will be coming up this following week.
If you are still having a tough time with some concepts, a good source of extra practice is a website that corresponds to with our textbook. It is at www.classzone.com Select math, our state, and then press go to select our textbook. In the middle of the page is the title PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Under that is a link to "epractice". Use this to help give you extra practice in the sections that you need it.
Math Assistance is in my classroom, room 507, Thursdays after school until approximately 3:30. Any student may attend, work on assignments, get additional help in math, study, etc... Parents may pick up their child before 3:30, or the students may ride the late bus home.
