February is Black History Month.

There will be no school on Monday, February 15 President's Day.

Students will not have school on Friday, February 19 as it is Staff Development Day.
---------------------------------------------------------
REMINDER: Monday, February 8, 2010 is the due date for the history  research project in your history class. This report should include your primary and secondary sources and an annotated bibliography.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parents, your students have been assigned a research/book report project. We already spent time in the library conducting initial research. Once students have collected the required facts and information, they will label the faces of a cube, decorate it, and fold it to its 3-D form. Rubrics have been distributed (it's a yellow sheet with Historical Fiction on one side and Biography on the other). We will spend some time in class working on them, but then students will have to finish them on their own. These cube reports are due Friday, February 12, 2010.
