Good week, everyone- a short week! On the last proficiency (and rewrite), some problems arose- details and organization. In response to this, and our upcoming second mock proficiency next week, the students are writing stories in class.
The focus is two-fold: show, not telling (details) and having a beginning-middle-end to the stories (organization). A rough draft was due Monday, except for zero period, which is a day behind. Final copy due on Wednesday.
Write the stories well! Parents, please make sure that your child is writing their story!
