Thursday Sept 4th Agenda:
*Fill out student information sheet
*Participate in a human scavenger hunt!
*Go over the welcome to chemistry expectations letter
*Go over the class rules
*Explain the HW sheet
*Assign HW #1
HW #1 Make an artistic poster that illustrates the main ideas of the six class rules. Be creative!
Friday Sept 5th Agenda:
*Review/Label HW #1
*Go over class procedures
*Go over HW grading policy
*Pass out the lab safety handouts
*Pass out the notebook guidelines
*Assign HW #2
HW #2 Get parent signatures, study lab safety handouts, buy notebook supplies, write a short story that explains what the "typical day" looks like in Mrs. Black's chemistry class (use a minimum of 5 class procedures in your story!)
