I hope your summer is going well. Guess what? Over the next few weeks, you can see the International Space Station flying over us. It travels at 18,000 mph at an altitude of 240 miles high, so it circles the earth every 90 minutes. Because of our seasonal angle right now, we can see it traveling across our sky. The best time to catch it is 45-90 minutes after sunset or before sunrise, as the sun will reflect off of its panels, illuminating it, even though it is still dark for us. The best evening days will be July 17-21, and after that you will only see early morning hours. If you want to find out more, the information is at this website:

They have touched my heart. Ms. O'Brien
