Read a good book every night!
Children who read aloud to someone everyday will be more successful in reading. 1st and 2nd graders receive a log sheet to keep track of all the chapters or books that they reads at their level. Then turn in those log sheets to get credit. 3rd and 4th graders can also get credit for extra outside reading aside from their monthly chapter books. Keep track of the chapters you read.
Homework policy:
1st and 2nd: Plastic packets will be sent home on the first day of the school week. They must be returned by Friday.
3rd: Homework is due daily. Whatever is assigned is due the next day unless otherwise specified. Your child has been given an assignment book and folder to keep there work in. Please check on your child's assingment book daily to know what their homework is.
