Explorer Reports
It is essential that your child is bringing his or her books and research to school, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The students are given class time to work on their report and ask any questions they may have. I have noticed that many students are very enthusiastic about their explorers! I am hoping to take the students to the computer lab to research and type their reports in the next few weeks. If you have a flash drive that you can send to school, this will ease the process of saving information. You can also purchase one with plenty of room for under $10. This is a required tool for fifth grade.
Multiplication Facts
I have noticed improvement in the area of math facts. Please continue to work with your child on multiplication facts when you can to enhance his or her success in math.
Report Cards
You should receive report cards in the mail next week.
Christmas Play
The fourth grade will be singing “Dollars and Census” at the upcoming Christmas play. They will need to bring dark shirts to wear on Thursday, December 4 (for our afternoon performance at 1:00pm) and Friday, December 5 (for our evening performance). Admission of $2 will be charged at the door for all those who would like to attend.
Book Fair

Emergency Information
A copy of your emergency information is being sent home. Please check it over and send it back with corrections or without so that we can have your updated information on file. Your student will earn Leopard bucks for bringing it back in right away.
Scrip
Food 4 Less Scrip is available for purchase in the school office. It is sold in $20.00 increments. Just in time for holiday shopping.
