Middle School P.E.
For the next three weeks we are going to be playing football. The 6th grade class will be learning the game from scratch. I will assume that every student knows nothing of the sport, so all will start on a even level. For seventh and eighth grade, we will jump back into the sport and improve upon what we have learned in the past year or two.
Elementary P.E.
We will be focusing on soccer related games for the next few weeks. Games to be played include: indoor soccer, crab soccer, kickball basketball, speed-a-way, and 2 and 4 goal soccer.
P.E. Clothes:
Please make sure all P.E. clothes are labeled with a permanent marker. I would like to see names on the chest area under the SRS P.E. logo and on the shorts on a leg band. If you need more clothes, the office usually has some that are available to buy. Additionally, Screening Sensations just printed off a large selection of shirts and shorts.
***PLEASE REMEMBER*** ALL STUDENTS WHO BRING IN THEIR OWN GEAR ARE REQUESTED TO HAVE THEIR NAMES ON IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE THEIR NAMES WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THEIR P.E. UNIFORMS. THIS LESSONS THE CHANCES OF THEM BEING SWITCHED OR MIXED UP DURING CHANGING TIMES IN THE BATHROOMS. IT ALSO MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO RECLAIM THEM! IN ADDITION, NO HARD BASEBALLS OR SOFTBALLS ARE ALLOWED AT SCHOOL. RAGBALLS, TENNIS BALLS, AND RAQUETBALLS ARE OKAY. IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THESE REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE HAVE THEM SEE ME DIRECTLY.
