Thank you all for coming to our open house. It means so much to the children to have their parents enjoy all their hard work.
In the coming month, we will be studying explorers of the eastern part of the United States.
In math, we continue our work with division, and in science, it's all about worms! Soon your fifth grader will be able to tell you everything you could want to know about worms.
In language arts, all of the class continue to work on their perfect paragraphs, and they are now working on multi-paragraph essay writing. The class is continuing to enjoy reading The Mixed-Up Files......
We look forward to our class Thanksgiving luncheon on Monday, November 19th. A handout about this event is being sent in the Wed. folder on Nov. 14th.
