The students got back their test today.  This week the 6th grade continue to study the fraction in detail.  In particular, this week will focus on its relationship to a decimal and on the several ways to convert one into other. We will have a quiz on Friday.

This week the 7th grade conclude their study of linear equations.  In particular, we will focus on systems of linear equations for most of the week (how to solve them by graphing and by the algebraic method of substitution).  They will have a a Chapter 8 test on Tuesday.

After a Chapter 9 review on Monday, the 8th grade will take a test on Tuesday.  Wednesday and Thursday we will study the first two sections of Chapter 10.  We will end the week with a short quiz on Friday (covering 10.1 an 10.2) and end the period with an activity that will set them up for success on Tuesday (factoring trinomials).
