In math we are finishing patterns and beginning number recognition and one-to-one correspondence. See if your child can count objects up to 10 from the homework kit. Up to 20? 30?

Thank you to everyone who donated goodies, paper products and/or time to our wonderful Halloween party. The students enjoyed every tasty morsel. And a BIG THANK YOU to our room-parents, Susan Waid, Christina Simi, Jen Ward and Loretta Wingo for organizing the event.
It was wonderful seeing so many families enjoying Gatorween on Saturday! Thank you to those of you who contributed items to the event and/or donated your time to one of the fun booths. Our PTA is a great group of people who work hard to put together many wonderful activities and opportunities for the students at Gregory Gardens. If you wish to join the PTA it is not too late! Membership forms are in the office.
Super Star
Isabella Alviz is our special student this week and we learned that she enjoys working with math materials at school, playing tag with her cousin and hiking in Yosemite with her family. Isabella¡¦s favorite color is yellow and sushi is her favorite food. Yum!
I wouldd like to thank Merry Burns for copying and distributing the kindergarten homework packets every week for both K-1 and K-2! This is a time consuming job and she does it faithfully each week even while putting together an awesome haunted house for Gatorween. Thank you Merry!
