In order to succeed, people need a sense of self-efficacy, struggle together with resilence to meet the inevitable obstacles and inequities of life,” Albert Bandura
When we press on without giving up no obstacle can keep us from our goals. This success becomes easier when we work together toward a common goal of success.

A Pledge to Myself/No man is an Island
by Michael Wynn
Today I pledge to be
the best possible me
No matter how good I am
I know i can become better
Today I pledge to build
on the work of yesterday
which will lead me
into the rewards of tomorrow
Today I pledge to feed
my mind new knowledge
wisdom and understanding
Today I pledge to reach
for new goals,
new challenges and
new horizons
Today I pledge to listen
to the beat of my drummer
Who leads me onward
in search of dreams
Today I pledge to believe in me
No man is an island
no man stands alone
each man's joy is joy to me
each man's grief is my own
we need one another
so I will defend
each man as my brother
each man as my friend

We may not always realize that everything we do
Affects not only our lives but touches others too.
A single happy smile can always brighten up the day
For anyone who happens to be passing by your way
And a little bit of thoughtfulness that shows someone you care
Creates a ray of sunshine for both of you to share
Yes, every time you offer someone a helping hand
Every time you have a kind and gentle word to give,
You help someone to find beauty in this precious life we live.
For happiness brings happiness and loving ways bring love
