This week students will have many opportunities to work in pairs, as usual. We will talk about analogies, idioms, metaphors, and similes.
We will do a lot of writing. Our first writing genre is a personal narrative. This week we will focus on brainstorming and organizing the ideas for a story, summarizing it, and making a timeline for the plot.
It is important to keep the significance of the story in mind as well, and to be able to elaborate on it.
