SOCIAL STUDIES: Complete first 10 flashcards for chapter 8. Test questions were handed out in class on Monday.
Label, color(c. pencil) and complete MUSLIM EXPANSION MAP...THE LARGE ONE, HANDED OUT IN CLAS ON WEDNESDAY.
IN YOUR SS NOTEBOOK, GO TO Rnotes, 8.7-8.8, turn the page(skip it), and go to next LEFT HAND PAGE THAT SHOULD BE BLANK. SYMMETRICALLY BALANCE THIS PAGE BY WRITING THESE 4 years, SLIGHTLY INDENTED FROM LEFT MARGIN, 570, 582, 595 AND 610.
On the far left of the page, next to each listed year,starting w/ 582, you will make a sketch/illustration that is related to the "EVENT" THAT OCCURED DURING THAT YEAR. YOU CAN USE YOUR BOOK!!
THEN WRITE A 3-5 SENTENCE SUMMARY OF THE MAIN EVENTS WHICH OCCURED DURING THAT YEAR......TO THE RIGHT OF THE YEAR THAT IS LISTED.
SKIP 1 or 2 lines in between each " Sketch, year/summary".
The left hand page should contain 4 illustrations going down the left side margin.......w/ the years 570, 582, 595, and 610 written to the "right" of the illustration.....then begin writing the 3-5 sentence summary next to the year.
Skip a line and then begin the next one.
NOW, ON THE RIGHT HAND PAGE WHICH IS NEXT TO THE LEFT HAND PAGE....DO NOT SKIP A PAGE!! PLEASE FOLLOW THE EXACT SAME DIRECTIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING YEARS: 613, 619, 622, and 632!!
