Lions Speech Contestants: Meeting Friday at LUNCH in Ms. Walker's room. If you are interested and did not attend the first meeting, please join us this Friday! All are welcome!
Seniors: Friday, November 20th is the last day to turn in your baby pictures and Senior quote if you want them to be in the Yearbook. Turn them into the front office.
Will you be hungry on Saturday morning November 21st? Then come support the DHS/CMS Music Department's All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast from 8am–11am on Saturday, November 21st in the Cafeteria. Cost is $5 per person for all you can eat pancakes. Includes juice, water or coffee. All proceeds benefit the DHS/CMS Music Department.
Athletes: If you plan to play a sport in the Winter or the Spring of this year you must submit to the Athletic Director your Physical form, your emergency form, and your athletic code. If you are a Kaiser Permanente member you must still complete the Upper portion of the Athletic Physical form and then attach your Kaiser physical to the reverse side. Your physical WILL NOT be complete if only the Kaiser form is turned in. Any questions should be directed to Ms. Lee, Delta HS Athletic Director.
Attention students that need an independent study contract for December, please see Mrs. Roys. A meeting with your parents needs to be scheduled 10 days before the start of the independent study contract.
Yearbook meetings are held the first three Fridays of each month from 3:30 - 5:00 in Room 17. We are looking for additional staff - Freshmen through Seniors. See you on Friday.
Delta FFA is starting their annual poinsettia sales. The plants are $12 - 16" tall and come wrapped in gold, green or red foil. See your ag teacher for details or stop by and see Mrs. Spears

Game On! We will be hosting Big Valley this Friday Night for the first round of the football playoffs. CIF sets the gate prices and Delta High School Athletics does not profit from ticket sales. Gate prices will be $9.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Senior Citizens. Game time is 7:00pm with the gate opening at 6:00pm.
Attention SOS members. Are you interested in free lift tickets? Or maybe you’d like to attend Sacramento’s largest ski and snowboard show and sale this weekend at Cal Exp. If any of this sounds interesting, then come to the SOS meeting this Thursday at lunch in room 4.

US ARMY RECRUITER VISIT A Representative from the US Army will be on campus lunch time today. The Rep will be set up in front of the cafeteria.
Congratulations to the Delta FFA Best Informed Greenhand Team for placing 2nd at the Yolo Section FFA Best Informed Greenhand Contest. Virginia Doherty placed 4th high overall among all the contestants. In addition, congratulations to all of the opening and closing ceremony teams that competed at Woodland Community College. The officer team placed 2nd overall and the two advanced teams placed 1st and 2nd.
Athletes: Athletic contract requests must be in writing and in Ms. Lee's box no later than Tuesday Nov.24th. No requests will be honored after Nov 24th.

Requirements:
Must be a high school senior
Plan to enroll full time to either a four year college or two year college
Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
Cannot be an employee of Metro PCS or Kyocera, also if they have family who are affiliated.
83 students will receive a $2,500 scholarship award. Also each winner will receive a Kyocera phone with one year free service.
Applications are available in the office.
