To print out homework notes in balck and white. Highlight the notes. Click edit, copy, then open windows word program, paste onto blank page, highlight homework notes, click on black color for font, then print.

Rhyming Words: Practice reading short “U” words. Randomly point to various words. When testing the children on these words, I will be using flashcards this time. Pointing randomly will simulate the same effect. Our goal is for the students to be reading faster then on the last sets of words.
Worksheet: Complete trace and copy of short vowel word worksheet (4 days to complete)
Read from Short Vowel Story Book: To pick up speed stories should be read more than twice.

Show-n-tell topic: Bring in two different objects, one that soaks up water and one that does not soak up water. A container in class will be filled with water. Student needs to demonstrate which item soaks up water and which one does not.
