Dear Parents,
October was another busy month here at Sacred Heart and we are amazed that two months of school have already been completed! This month we will be continuing to learn about fall. We will also be learning about Thanksgiving, pilgrims and giving thanks.
This month will be another exciting one. It will be centered on being thankful and giving thanks. We will be discussing what we are thankful for and what it is to be thankful. We will also be learning about and discussing Veteran’s Day and the men and women who help our country. We will be continuing to make fall crafts as well as some thanksgiving crafts. Towards the end of this month we will be having a Thanksgiving party. Each child will be making either a pilgrim or Indian hat for this party. We will be make believing that we are Indians and pilgrims. During this party snacks will be provided.
In addition to all the fun we will be having this month, keep in mind these important dates:
• Friday, November 10th – No School (Veteran’s Day)
• Tuesday, November 21st – Thanksgiving class party
• Wednesday, November 22nd- Thanksgiving break begins (no school)
• Monday, November 27th – School resumes

From,
Miss Behr
