Dear Parent,

 The learning packet was sent home today. Here are the following suggested ideas to complete the work. As I  told the children, this is MANDATORY, not optional. So with that in mind, the work will be completed, and returned  when school resumes.

Reading- During this time please have your child read their A/R book for March or work ahead and have one read for April

The Reading packet- Have your child do 1 worksheet each day./ I sent home 2 weeks worth just in case...

English packet- The class was going to be tested on pronouns next week, so the packet has review sheets to complete, 1 each day.

During this time please review for Unit 5 test pgs. 322-341/ Extra practice pages to go over aloud are pgs. 388-395. 

Test will be given when we resume school.

Math packet- we began measuring to the nearest inch and 1/2 inch- w.s. in packet/ 1 worksheet in the packet per day

Please  go over liquid measurement pgs. 458-459 before so that worksheet can be completed.

Multiplication facts are on going-continue to practice facts daily which makes it so much easier/ worksheets in packet to complete.

Science- finish the chapter about Food Chains, pgs. 172-175

complete pgs. 176-178 

Religion- Trace Station 6 &7 with marker as we have been doing in class for our Station booklet

Social Studies- complete both worksheets

 

I hope these assignments are clearly understood. Thank you for your understanding in this matter, that came upon us unexpectedly! Have a good week, may we all stay healthy.

Reading- packet was sent through email

English- begin a new chapter on Adjectives pgs. 398-407 Daily assignments as follows:

*Read over p. 398 understand the rules/ assignment p. 399 6-15 in cursive neatly.

*Read over p. 400 understand the rules/ assignment p. 401 6-15  in cursive neatly.

* Find 20 objects around the house write each one in cursive and write and adjective to describe each by What Kind or How Many

*Read over p. 402 which should be a review/ assignment p. 403 6-15 answers only.

* Read over p. 404 understand the rules/ assignment p. 405 11-15 in cursive (you will use this same paper for the next day's lesson...

Read over p.406 understand the rules/ assignment p. 407 11-15 in cursive using the same paper as p. 405

Math- continue to drill and practice multiplication & divisionfacts to 12, the free websites are available through Mr. Theis' email for worksheets and problems in the book as well.

Go over Chap. 23 for understanding of 2 & 3 dimensional Figures

Activity- find these figures in your home as a search and find...

Science- Find an animal to research... Refer to the Chapter on Food Chains 172-175

On computer size paper draw the Food Chain for that animal using words

On the other side- glue the picture  of the animal in the center or draw it if you do not have a printer

Above the picture write ( may be printed) the habitat/ ecosystem of that animal

On the left of the picture is the animal a omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore 

On the right of the picture what is the animal's prey

Below the picture is your animal a consumer or producer

Relgion- pray for everyone's safety especially our first responders and those in the medical field/ say a Hail Mary each day that we will reunite soon.
