We had very successful shows to celebrate Youth Art Month. The Audubon show at Oxbow Meadows was judged and we can celebrate 3 winners! Gavin Gabrielson won 1st place, Amare Vines won 2nd, and Kamden Gooden won 3rd! We had 6 other awesome artists representing Reese Road as well! Way to go Roadrunners!! :)

Whew! I have been a busy bee putting up 3 shows for our awesome Roadrunner Artists! One show is the District Youth Art Month show which has been up since last week at RMSOTA, our reception is at 5pm and the show goes down tonight at 6pm. There is an ongoing show on the 2nd floor of the district office on Macon Rd in the Arts and Humanities Department. They are loving our artwork there, and that show will go down next week. Then, the Audubon art show reception is at Oxbow Meadows at 1:30 on Saturday 3-16. It was so difficult to choose art because we have so much talent! The students that have work in these shows have been notified.

We have several winners from the PTA Reflections District contest, all 1st and 2nd place art goes to State! Lucy Hart won 1st place in Photography and Visual Arts, Wesley Diaz Mota won 1st place in Visual Arts, and Trevor Philliips won 3rd place in Visual Arts! Way to Go! :)
