Tests and Quizzes This Week

Friday – Reading comprehension and decoding test (The students will be asked to read a short story and will be asked questions based on this story).

     Snack fee for the month of May is now due ($10 in cash please).  There will be one remaining snack fee for the month of June.   All snack fees will need to be paid by the time of graduation next month.

We will focus on the sounds of /x/ and /v/ and the sight words “has” and “look”.  In math, we will continue our work on solving problems involving subtraction and addition.  In religion we will be discussing prayer as talking and listening to God at any time and anywhere we that we want to.

 

     The students in grades K through 7 will be performing in a spring concert on Wednesday, May 24 at 9:00 AM .  You are welcome to attend the concert.  The students will be singing songs that we are practicing for graduation.

 

     There will be a 12:00 dismissal next Friday, May 26 and there is no school that following Monday, May 29 and Tuesday, May 30.

 

        Kindergarten graduation will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 10:00 AM in the school gymnasium.  We are ordering graduation caps for the students and ask that the students be dressed up in a manner appropriate for a graduation (such as dresses for the girls, dress pants and shoes for the boys .
