Valentine’s party will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 2:00.

 

 

Please continue praying for Rhyan, her family and the medical team. Rhyan is home enjoying family and friends. They are hoping to make it to school some this week. There is an update on her Caring Bridge Page. We are always thinking and praying for Rhyan in class.

 

Sneak Peek into the Week:

 

The letter of the week is Mm, Munching Mouth. The homework page will be in your child’s folder on Tuesday and it will be due on Friday.

 

Religion- Baptism/Jesus is Baptized- I will send a sheet home for you to fill out about your child’s baptism. If possible, please send in pictures of the special day. We will share these in class. The kids always love to hear the story of the day they were baptized!

 

Writing daily- working on writing a story with a beginning, middle and end.

Reading- We are learning the color words, days of the week, names of our friends in class, and family names. Working on comprehension by retelling a story by naming the characters, setting and retelling the beginning, middle and the end of the story. Also, relating the story to any personal connections.

 

Math- The kids did a great job learning how to tell time to the nearest hour. We will start working on learning numbers up 100. The 100th day of school is coming up very soon!

 

Science- Earth, weather, seasons

 

Social Studies- Earth, Martin Luther King

 

Monday- Music and PE

 

Tuesday-Church and PE

 

Wednesday- Art

 

Thursday- Computer and Counselor

 

Friday- All School Mass, Music and Library, please remind your child to keep their library book in their backpack so they will always remember their library book!
