Welcome to Ms. Stamer's Homework Page for 4th & 5th Grade Science, as well as 5-21 Language Arts.

Friday, October 10 is our Walkathon. All of the proceeds will be going to help with the cost of whiteboards for the classrooms. Students are allowed to wear their gym uniforms on Friday. We will start at 1:00pm and walk to Rahway Park, around the park and back. It is about a 3 mile walk. Please fill out the permission slip and bring it back as soon as possible. Thank you.

Conferences will be held next week on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 (1-3pm) and Thursday, October 16, 2014 (1-3pm and 5-7pm). There are no appointments. I look forward to seeing you at that time. Please bring a copy of your child's progress report with you to your conference.

Wednesday 10/8/14

Science 4-18 & 4-19:

1. Study for Test tomorrow. Use Study Guide from Ms. Stamer. You can also use page 67 as a review of knowledge. Pages 68-69 are extra questions that you can answer as a second review. pages 68-69 are OPTIONAL
2. Here are the items that are to be completed in your Notebook for your check tomorrow.

   Cover page for Chapter 2-colored with the Title "Technology & Design"
   Chapter 2 Vocabulary Cards envelope glued/taped to a page in NB
   Chapter 2 Vocabulary Cards cut out and IN  the envelope
   Lesson 2.1 Worksheet taped/glued into NB
   Lesson 2.2 Worksheet taped/glued into NB

   Total of 50 points. This will count as a Content Knowledge grade on Power School. If a student cannot find a worksheet, they can print it from Edmodo and complete it.

Science 5-20:

1. Work on Lab Report due 10/14. Study for Test next week.
2. Complete 2 boxes for Chapter 2 WOW pages (ex. Technology helps us make work and life easier)
3. Chapter 2 Test for ALL 5th Grade, Wednesday 10/15 or Thursday 10/16.

Language Arts 5-21:

1. Glue an envelope (address side to paper) into your notebook. Title the page "Chapter 7 Vocabulary".
2. Cut out the Vocabulary Smart Cards from pages 339-342. Place them into the envelope.

Science 5-21:

1. Lab Report Due 10/14 for ALL 5th grade.

Language Arts 5-21:

1. Minecraft Packet (pages 1-5) due Friday 10/17.
2. Fiction Book Report is due 11/10.
3. Editing Paragraphs weeks 5 & 6 are now due on THURSDAY 10/16.
4. Extra Grammar Assignments are on Edmodo. If you complete these, some points will be added to a low Editing Paragraphs score.  Search for "Quizzes" on Edmodo.
