This week in science we are going to be conducting an experiment using Steel Wool. The procedures are on pages 336-337 in the textbook. Students will be performing this experiment on Wednesday, October 29. I am asking that homeroom 4-18 bring in some sort of wipes (baby wipes, lysol wipes, etc) for Wednesday's class. I am asking that homeroom 4-19 please bring in a roll of paper towels. I know that paper towels were on the supply list for each homeroom, but as you can imagine, in science class we seem to go through them more often.  I appreciate your support in our experiments.

We are beginning our third unit of study for the year...Physical Science. This unit encompasses a lot of different things. The first chapter talks about Matter, how to classify matter, as well as how to measure and describe matter. We will be using Chapter 7 in our textbooks for this part of the unit. Students should always bring in their notebook, writing utensils, and highlighters to class. Glue and scissors are essential to our notebooks. Please make sure your child comes prepared to school with those supplies. If glue is not an option, then please send them in with clear Scotch tape.

If your child would like to use the online textbook, they can use the following information:
