We have begun out new unit on Matter. Our notebooks and textbooks are being actively used. Feel free to replace notebooks, as needed. If glue is not an option for your child's notebook, then please send them in with a small tape dispenser and clear tape. 

We will be participating in several experiments in the next few weeks. Keep your eyes open for information about any supplies needed. 

Our 5th Graders have been working on creating a parody song. They will continue working on their lyrics through Edmodo. 5-21 is completing a Scientific Method song to "Rather Be". 5-20 will be working on a Design Process song to "Cool Kids" by Echosmith. This is an exciting time in our science class, as we learn to apply our knowledge to an unique project.
