*We have begun reading a chapter book in class. The students are not to read the book at home nor should they be reading ahead in the book. The book is online, but students should not rent or buy it themselves. Please allow the students to join in the whole class reading of the book. Thank you.

*BRING SIGNED REPORT CARDS! (Teachers were notified this week that report cards may be returned to parents. FIRST, send the report back signed with parent signature! I will check it to make sure the report card was seen, then send it back home with the child.)
Thank you to the families who donated food for the food drive. Our class was able to send out plenty of goods for those in need. Thank you to the families who continued to send in goods for the food drive. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. You have helped make this holiday season a special one for those who are less fortunate.
Field trip form must be signed. The money must be given in exact change. Please do not send students with only $6. The price is clearly stated on the form. The price is $6.30 for student and parent chaperone. The student were given the field trip form one week ago. The deadline for it to be returned was Monday (11/21). In order for students to attend the trip I must have the form signed with the correct amount of money.
Report cards must be signed and returned as soon as possible. The new report cards are longer than they were before. Therefore, parents will not receive a copy of their own. If you wish to make a copy yourself, please do so. The original report card must be signed and returned.
Tomorrow (Wed. 11/23) is a 12PM Dismissal (K-8th; full day for Pre-K). There is no school on Thursday (11/24) & Friday (11/25). The students have work to be completed over the Thanksgiving break. The work is for Math & ELA. It will be collected on Monday 11/28.
