Cadets and Parents,
Welcome to MP2!! We have a packed two weeks before Thanksgiving Break. Here are some important dates and reminders.
On Monday, we will be starting U2L1. Our vocabulary quiz will be on Thursday 11/9. If you are in Block 1 and are attending the Veteran's Day Breakfast that morning (meaning you will miss class), please see me ASAP to set up a time to make up the quiz (Wednesday or Thursday after -school or during mini-block). Cadets in Blocks 5 and 6 are unaffected.
On Friday, November 17th we will take the U2L1 test. If you are attending the Music trip to Disney (and won't be in school that day) please see me ASAP to schedule a time to take your test.
Freshman Cadets will be taking the PSAT 8/9 on Wednesday November 15th. It is a normal school day for everyone else and Freshman cadets have normal classes following the PSAT exam and lunch (5th and 6th block will be unaffected). I will not see Block 1 on this day for class.
I will be available on the following days for tutoring after-school: Wednesday 11/8 and M-Th 11/13-11/16.

THIS IS IT! It's crazy to believe that at the end of this week we are halfway through the course! Please be patient as I am grading as fast as humanly possible to get everything in. We had a lot of assignments turned in last week and I have 75 of each of them. Thanks for your understanding. Anything listed as UG means that it is in the process of being graded. If anything is listed as MI, please see me ASAP. Wednesday is the last day for any/all make-up work.
I will be available today (Monday) and Wednesday after school for tutoring.
The mid-term exam will be multiple choice style, with one essay question. It covers material from all 3 chapters (LP, U1L1, U1L2). It does not include the map or capitals. Please utilize the flash cards and practice activities on the e-textbook to study. The midterm exam counts as 10% of the FINAL GRADE (it does not effect the MP grade which is 40% of the final grade).

Cadets & Parents,
Welcome to the last full week of the marking period!! We have our last test of the MP on Friday. I will be available Wednesday and Thursday for tutoring after school. Please be sure to check HAC. If you have any assignments with an MI, please see me ASAP. All make-up work must be completed by Wednesday, Nov 1st (the last day of the MP). We will also be working on an in class presentation/writing prompt this week. This will also be a summative grade (along with the test). If you are looking to bring your grade up, these are the last two major point assignments.

Parents and Cadets,
The test will be pushed back 1 day and will now take place on Friday, October 13th. In class on Thursday we will continue reviewing and practicing with the e-textbook in class. Please e-mail me if you are having issues accessing the e-textbook and/or need your username and password. I will also be available after school on Thursday for any cadet needing extra help since there will not be any tutoring as planned tomorrow.
