I hope you have all enjoyed your week.
Today progress reports will come home. I will send graded papers home this Monday. Some papers are averaged into your child's progress report, and some may be new grades from today. I strongly encourage you to get onto Parent Portal to check your child's grades in addition to what they bring home. If you need your Parent Portal information,you have to come to the school and visit the front office. I do not have this information.

Good afternoon!
Don't forget about PTO Open House from 6-7 this evening. This is a meeting for the parents. The students are not required to attend.

Homework for this week will be:
Tuesday - write all spelling words 2 times each. Bonus words DO count. Your child should write 15 words, not just the first 10. Study for Phonics Assessment (spelling test) & vocabulary test.
Wednesday - Spelling Alphabetical Order & Study for Phonics Assessment (spelling test) & vocabulary test.
Thursday - Study for Phonics Assessment (spelling test) & vocabulary test.

Good afternoon!
We have had a great week. Do not forget we are out Monday, September 3rd, in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, September 4th, we will have Open House from 6-7. This is for the parents. Students are not required to attend.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Don't forget Kona Ice will be here tomorrow. It is $3 per child.
We will visit the Book Fair at 8:00 tomorrow morning.
PTO Open House will be Tuesday, September 4th. This is for the parents. The students are not required to attend.

Also, tomorrow is SPIRIT DAY! Every Friday is Spirit Day. The students are asked to wear either their NCES t-shirts, if they have one, or red, white, & blue. The class with the highest participation gets the Spirit Stick for the week to carry around the school to show off their bragging rights :)

Don't forget we will have a phonics assessment (spelling test), vocabulary test, & a reading test tomorrow.
