Sorry I did not send an email on Friday. As some of you already know, I had to leave early Thursday, and I also missed Friday. Thank you for the kind messages I received. All is well now, and I should be back on schedule ;)

Homework for the week of August 27th - 31st

Monday: write spelling words 2 times each. Study vocabulary & spelling words.
Tuesday: Math Practice Topic 6-1 . I will send the paper home. Study vocabulary & spelling words.
Wednesday: Put spelling words into alphabetical order. I will send home the worksheet.
Study vocabulary & spelling words
Thursday: Study vocabulary & spelling words.
Friday: None! :) Have a great LONG weekend! Happy Labor Day! Relax if you can :)

Good afternoon!

Today your child will bring home an overview of our reading & language topics. We will have a Phonics Assessment this Friday (formerly called "Spelling Tests"), a vocabulary quiz over their vocabulary words, a grammar assessment using periods and question marks, and a reading assessment.

We also started topic 5 today in math. We are currently learning about 1's, 10's, 100's & greater than, less than, and equal.
