**We will begin to use index cards as a way to help us understand our vocabulary words, in Science and Language Arts. We also will be cutting the Smart Cards from our Science textbooks soon. Please send your student in with several small mailing envelopes. These will be good pockets to hold all of the extra pieces. **

Welcome back for another full week of school. This week will continue to learn about how technology affects our lives. We will also begin to learn about the engineering design process. Our first experiments will be happening this week, also. I will assign our students to lab groups. In our lab groups, students will be asked to bring in certain supplies. Hopefully this will cut down on having 48 cans of salt, or 48 boxes of gloves in the future.
