The students received their area tests back today (the one from last week and yesterday). The Eureka tests only have about 4 or 5 questions to them, therefore each question is worth a big amount of points. I know the students understand the concept of area. But because each question on the Eureka test is worth so much, their grade reflects otherwise. The students will receive another test (different from Eureka). This test will be mostly on area, yet will have a few questions on perimeter as well (which we started this week). Next week, the students will be informed as to which day this test will be.
