Here is a new opportunity for 5th graders! We are going to the Columbus Museum to see a Quilt show on December 7th. It has a lot of Historical stories involved. Here is a link for more information: http://www.columbusmuseum.com/exhibition/and-still-we-rise/
The museum is having a quilt square contest, I am going to share information for students this coming week. Any interested students will take home the information. They need to do their sketch, and fill out the paper work and bring it back to school by Thursday October 26th, if they want to participate. We will work on them in school, but they can also work on them at home. This is not an assignment, it is a volunteer opportunity.
We are collecting old, dry markers to send out for recycling! Bring in your old markers to Ms. Hardy in the Art Room.
Let's save the Earth one marker at a time :)!
