This week we conclude unit 3 - Family vocabulary, adjectives of comparison, numbers, months, irregular stem-changing verbs and possessive adjectives. The quiz will be given on Friday 3/6. Please see me after school if you need assistance or need to make test corrections.

Congratulations! iFelicitaciones! The AMI was excelente!
This week we will learn to talk about family, ask and tell ages, express possession, give dates and make comparisons. As for the cultural comparison, we will contrast and compare "La quinceañera" vs. "Sweet sixteen" birthday celebrations.
We will add more irregular 'stem-changing' verb conjugations. This is the less funny part of the Spanish 2 ....please take notes.
I noticed that some cadets need to organize the Spanish binder. Check these four sections; culture and geography, grammar, vocabulary, and classwork. I will grade your binder for class participation by Friday.

This short week we will continue learning about present tense verb conjugations, we will start irregular/stem-changing verbs and end the instructional week on Thursday until next Tuesday 2/18. Cadetes will receive material to practice at home and should submit uporn their return to class.

I hope you are ready to watch the Superbowl! Lo siento! I missed you all on Friday, I had a horrible headache but I feel better now. Did you access the Google Classroom blog? You need to follow the instructions posted and take notes as directed on both assignments. No excuses, por favor! Both assignments are due on Tuesday 2/4. Also we will complete questions 41-45 listening activity from quiz U3L1.
This coming week, we will learn new verb conjugations useful to order food face to face and by phone. Yes, you will have to create a video and get to work in groups. But we have to learn the verb conjugations and vocabulary first. If you have any questions, please contact me by email and schedule for afterschool tutorials on Thursday and next Monday.

Today we started in class the vocabulary packet A, you should complete it for tomorrow. It is your homework and it should be submitted at the beginning of class. Review and study vocabulary, verb gustar conjugations and tener expressions.
If you missed any assignments due to driving or absences, you should come during 3 or 4 block to work in my classroom.
