We will have a quiz on KE, PE Work and Power on Monday. Thursday and Friday, we will construct and drop a "safe" egg container for our egg drop lab on Friday. Tuesday 3/9 will be the Physics Unit Final.
We wil start our debate process on Tuesday by choosing topics and groups. All written assignments for our endangered species unit are due on Friday. (Endangered Species webquest, Racing Extinction One Pager and Endangered Species Slideshow/summative).
This week we will continue our study of the application of Newton's Laws by analyzing speed and stopping distance of vehicles of different mass traveling on compromised surfaces. We will conduct a lab that will introduce the concepts of GPE, KE, work and power, and learn how to calculate their value to prepare us for our summative "Egg Drop" project next Friday.
We will have a quiz on Hair Analysis today. We will continue this week with a study of the use of casts and impressions in a crime scene investigation. The Foresnsic Career Essay is due on Wednesday, Thursday will be an informal presentation by the cadets, to showcase their chosen careers. Friday will be a quiz on Casts and Impressions.
We will continue our study of endangered species by viewing the documentary "Racing Extinction" . The endangered species webquest, endangered species project and the "Racing Extinction" one pager are all due on Friday February 28.
